 In conjunction with ICCG 2008 organize by APIIT/UCTI game development club - Shout! Studio this coming Saturday, 19 July 2008, Games Monster with endorsement and supported by Play Interactive Software Sdn Bhd - Malaysia's Konami Official Distributor will organize the PlayStation 3 Winning Eleven 2008 Tournament. This tournament is also a kick start tournament for the Merdeka Winning Eleven 2008 Tournament which will be held on 16 August 2008 @ Sports Planet Subang Grand. To make this tournament more interesting, the top 4 winners in this tournament will automatically qualified to battle with participants who qualified to the semi final (without having to battle in the pre-round) during the Merdeka Wining Eleven 2008 Tournament Vanue: APIIT@TPM Campus Lot 6, Technology Park Malaysia Bukit Jalil, 57000 Kuala Lumpur Map: http://thecrystalcoder.net/iccg/?page=maps
Time: Registration start from 9 am. Tournament start at 10 am - end Game: Winning Eleven 2008 Platform: PlayStation 3 Max participants: 128 players Registration: RM 10 for students & RM 20 for others (pay upon registration) Tournament Format 1. 1 vs 1 - Round Robin (128, 64, 32) - Knock out (best 16, quater, semi & final round) 2. Single game 3. In knock out round, if game end draw, golden goal rule will be used. If still draw, no choice - penalty shoot out 4. Other than that... It allowed.
