Newbie Posts: 43 Group: Members Member #1,477 Joined: January 11, 2008	noob question :: how to set your usb headset to do chatting and audio simultaneously. is it possible? or its just two different apparatus? mine using microsoft chat usb headset its bad just to chat with your colleague but not able to hear the surrounding environment. senang kena slash dengan pisau oh.

Coz the voice audio channelling is separate from the audio. Maybe zio can confirm this since he's using 5.1 headphones with microphone.

For my 5.1 headphones, the output is via optical cable to the headphone, the mic is hooked to a USB soundcard that is connected to the USB port. The input is USB, the output is optical.
