All credit for this goes to aaronmiller453 from Gamefaqs.com Explanation for Cyber-Survival Deploy an assembled team to the network to commence automatic battles. Details can be viewed in the Battle Report after withdrawing your team. Winning may gain a new soldier, while losing may cause you to lose one. - Team Deployment Select the Deployment Menu, select a team to deploy from the Team Selection Screen, and then select a condition for retreat. A unit which has met a condition below cannot fight on any further: - When someone is unable to battle - When someone's LIFE is reduced to half or less - When you have lost 3 times during the current deployment Select Withdraw from the Cyber-Survival Menu to withdraw your team from battle. - Team Withdrawal Withdraw the deployed unit, then check your battle results. At times you will acquire a soldier at the Results Screen after winning. - Check Battle Report If you saved your Battle Report during team withdrawal, you can check the Battle Log. Look over what type of actions each team has performed, see which tactics were the most efficient, and make the most of this knowledge in your next battle. A maximum of four battle reports can be saved during one deployment. - Ranking Check the rankings. Here you can check the overall result. - Cyber Survival Rules In Cyber-Survival, soldiers are divided up into three ranks -- Commander, Attacker, and Supporter -- depending on the order in which they have been added to the team. The first soldier added is the Commander. The second and third soldiers are Attackers. And the fourth added is the Supporter. - Commander A Commander's Sense influences the team's Evasion and Hit Rates. His or her stamina influences the team's ability to keep fighting. A bonus may be awarded by the soldier assigned to Commander. - Attacker Able to attack more often than other soldiers, but is also more susceptible to enemy attacks. - Supporter Items used by a Supporter are twice as effective. Each rank of soldier is positioned by row. - Attackers are in the first row. - Commanders are in the second row. - Supporters make up the third row. - Weapon Range Each weapon has a certain range capability that determines how far (which row) an attack will travel. Enemies within the range of fire are chosen at random as attack targets. - When an Ally Attacker Attacks Range 1 attacks can reach enemy Attackers. Range 2 attacks can reach enemy Commanders. Range 3 attacks can reach enemy Supporters. - When an Ally Commander Attacks Range 2 attacks can reach enemy Attackers. Range 3 attacks can reach enemy Commanders. Range 4 attacks can reach enemy Supporters. - When an Ally Supporter Attacks Range 3 attacks can reach enemy Attackers. Range 4 attacks can reach enemy Commanders. Range 5 attacks can reach enemy Supporters. Range 1: Knife Range 2: Handgun Range 2: Shotgun Range 3: Submachine Gun Range 4: Assault Rifle Range 5: Sniper Rifle If an Attacker has a Range 3 weapon, he/she can target any enemy. But in order for a Supporter to target any enemy, he/she needs a Range 5 weapon. - Attack Methods During the Attack Phase, each soldier attacks with a weapon he/she is equipped with. Probability will change depending on which slot the weapon is equipped in: 40% if in Left Slot 30% if in Top Slot 20% if in Right Slot 10% if in Bottom Slot - Using Items Rations, Binoculars, and other items are used during the Support Phase. Probability will change depending on which slot an item is equipped in: 40% if in Left Slot 30% if in Top Slot 20% if in Right Slot 10% if in Bottom Slot - Order of Actions Weapons and items each have a fixed weight. Those equipped with lighter weapons/items will be able to act first. This also plays a part in determining the number of times attacks are inflicted when attacking. Soldiers armed with many heavy weapons can't perform as many actions as those with lighter weapons equipped. Weight 2: Knife Weight 2: Handgun Weight 3-5: Submachine Gun Weight 5-6: Shotgun Weight 4-5: Assault Rifle Weight 8: Sniper Rifle - Stamina A unit's ability to keep fighting is determined by its Commander's Stamina score. Stamina is reduced with each passing turn. If an equipped weapon is difficult handle, this score will decrease more rapidly. A tranquilizer-based weapon will cause the enemy's Stamina to deplete rapidly. Once Stamina has been completely depleted, soldiers will no longer be able t0 perform actions. - Preventing Actions If the following conditions are met, you can prevent the enemy from taking action, and the attack is now in your favor. - If the enemy you are trying to attack is aiming at you - If your weapon is easier to handle than your opponent's weapon - Revisions Special revisions may occur depending on these conditions. - The combination of soldiers within the team - Which soldier is made Commander - The Commander's experience |

I've stopped hosting the servers since the connection problem came up. I'll try hosting tomorrow if it's smooth. |
